For our part, it's hard to see David Lee not protecting all three of his big 2024 signings. I don't think he wants to leave Kevin O'Toole out there either, considering how much of a challenge we've had finding a solid left back.
My guess is, he'll gamble on leaving Hannes Wolf and Birk Risa unprotected. I'd hate to lose either of them, but we have options at forward, especially after Malachi gets back, and Justin Haak was starting over Birk down the stretch.
But we may get lucky and get passed over again. Fingers crossed.
